A short update on the Bar Hill Community Association (the new charity to support the village). We have now completed the setup of the charity and registered it with the Charity Commission (1195382). We have a few more steps to go, like getting a bank account, but we should be able to bring you a lot more information next month.
This has been mentioned in many places but the announcement from the Community Hub is very important - they need to understand what people want to do with their donations given at the start of the pandemic. Please get in touch with Kevin (see Page 30) to let him know.
A special thank you to Pauline Dempsey for her article on the Raptor Foundation this month, and to Liz Dam for her excellent wildlife articles - if there is someone local or some group you’d like us to mention we’d always welcome the article!
Unfortunately this month illness (not “pingdemic!”) of one form or another has led to us not being able to bring you several things we had planned - fingers crossed for another bumper issue next month and good health to deliver it!
